RE: Response Letter #4 for SDP201800040 Hunters Way — Major Site Plan Amendment
Dear Alan,
Thank you for your review of the major site plan amendment for Hunters Way. This letter contains
responses to your comments provided by Albemarle County on Sept 22, 2021. Our responses are as
follows:
1. There has been no change on our end. We have not received engineered septic plans to verify those shown
on the site plan, and it does not appear the existing well has been approved by the Office of Drinking Water.
My concern regarding the well is that if the existing well cannot be approved by ODW as a transient
waterworks, they would possibly be looking at drilling a new well, the location of which would need to be
shown on the site plan.
RESPONSE: Inboden Environmental Services is working to complete both the septic permit and
the well permitting. On November 10, 2021 ODW issued a tentative approval letter for the existing
well to be utilized as a public drinking water supply, Inboden Environmental is working to complete
the required yield and drawdown test and will provide the results of that test upon completion.
If you have any questions or concerns about these revisions, please feel free to contact me at
