Thanks for sending this over. I just had a chance to look at it
My concern remains across 9-11 about the landscaping/trees to remain within the trail buffer area and landscaping
replanting plan. We discussed the area that was showing up as what I called "undefined" between the trail and Old
Lynchburg Rd. By that, I meant it wasn't clear there was existing vegetation to remain or if there was replanting
proposed. It also must be clear that no landscaping in the ROW that remains can count towards that trail buffer
landscaping. One example of the area I mentioned is below.
There should be a note subject to field verification that existing vegetation satisfies the COD or replanting will be
required. Here is a link to the COD. Also, we haven't had a chance to walk the site together but Ashlee and I did a drive
by if you will and it looked like in some places there wasn't much left that wasn't in the ROW.
Like y'all said today, I think we are almost there with the revisions Matt D. suggested (attached and below). We can
hopefully work this out over the next week or so with an on -site, photos, another meeting, and emails or some combo
thereof that works for everyone. I think a quick chat would be a good next step.
I have updated my review in CV for the road plans for 9-11 (SUB202100011) and have no objection.
Matt Wetland's remaining comments for 9-11 are below. I believe ACSA and VDOT have already been sent to you
directly.
1. The road plan will need to be approved prior to Final Site Plan approval. Review of the road plan may generate
additional comments on the Final Site Plan.
3 PUNTED OVER THE PATER RETENTION SYSTEM WILL NOT WAVE
JOTS AND WILL HAVE ADEQUATE SOIL DEPTH NHERE PLANTED.

Hi Rebecca,
We want to follow up again to see if you were able to take a look at these updates for SW 11-12 from our meeting on
2/16. As mentioned, it would be helpful to confirm that we've properly addressed your comments before resubmitting.
One small thing to note is that we did notice that we hadn't moved a few shrubs on sheet 1-1.2, so those updates are
included in this version of the PDF.
Thanks,
Matt Denhard

Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for taking the time to meet with us on Wednesday, it was very helpful to address some of these last review
comments for SW 11-12.
We were able to make the adjustments that we discussed, and we're hoping that you could take a quick look while they
are still fresh on everyone's mind to make sure that we've properly addressed your comments — we've attached the
meeting minutes with the action items for each comment as well as the plan pages that were edited.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions and thanks!
