ACSA staff contacted me the other day because they noticed that there is an existing underground electrical line that is going to be retained and put into a private easement. The easement and utility line are partially located within the proposed public ROW for the new street serving the lots in this development. You can see what I'm referring to on Sheet 4 of the attached plat PDF. I've spoken with the County Attorney and we cannot find any County regulations that would prevent this from being done. Our only concern is that we want to verify that VDOT will still accept the new road into the state system even with the easement and utility line located within the right-of-way as shown on the plat. Can you take a look at this and let me know?
