This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County for
review:
PROJECT: SUB201700128 Hollymead Town Center Blocks C1, C2, C3, C4— Preliminary
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Rio
TAX MAP/PARCEL. 03200000004500
LOCATION: Southeast of the intersection of Lockwood Drive and Community Street
PROPOSAL. Preliminary subdivision plat approval for 77 lots at a density of 15.95 du/ac with 1.12
acres of open space as permitted under the Code of Development for ZMA200700001. This
application is associated with SDP201700053 This application also requests private streets and
several special exception requests,which include allowing lots to front on open space and shifting the
location of required planting strips and sidewalks.
ZONING: Neighborhood Model District
ENTRANCE CORRIDOR. Yes
OVERLAY DISTRICT: Airport Impact Area (AIA), Steep Slopes (managed and preserved)
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Urban Mixed Use(in areas around Centers)—commercial and retail uses
that are not accommodated in Centers and residential (3—34 units/acre)
This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10.00 a m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee

Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be available to help
with any questions, we encourage you to schedule a viewing time. Please call 296-5832 ext.3270 during
business hours(8 a.m -5 p.m., Mon-Fri)to schedule an appointment. While an appointment is not required,
we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without appointments may find the materials are in use
by others and/or staff is not available to help. Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting,
please notify the Department of Community Development so that any concerns may be adequately addressed.
