The Albemarle County Planning Commission at its meeting on March 1, 2022, recommended denial by a vote of 2:4, for
the reasons that were discussed, attention to improving connectivity throughout the project and bring more clarity to
building massing and height.
The Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 5:1 for the reasons that were discussed and in the staff
report, provided that several areas of concern were addressed, listed are the following concerns.
-Pedestrian connectivity to nearby uses
-Providing clarity regarding maximum building height, stepback and massing
-Providing clarity regarding proposed unit type
