The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the plat referenced above
once the following comments have been addressed. Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference
from the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinance, unless otherwise specified.
1. [14-308.1] Groundwater assessment. Provide groundwater assessment fee ($391) to initiate a Tier 2
groundwater assessment. The fee must be paid prior to plat approval.
2. [14-406] Remnants. Remnants shall not be created by subdivision of land. Include plat note indicating
which parcels (TMP reference) that Parcel A and Parcel B are associated with.
3. [14-309,14-310, and 14-416] Soils evaluations. The subdivider shall submit to the agent with each final
plat the results of percolation tests or other methods of soil evaluation used to determine the suitability
of the soil for subsurface drainfields.
4. [14-316] Entrance approval. The plat has been forwarded to the Virginia Department of Transportation
(VDOT) for review and approval of the proposed entrances onto public streets. Comments will be
forwarded upon receipt.
