[14-302(6)(7)] Revise Note 6 to state that the subject parcel is within the Lickinghole Creek Water Supply Watershed. Note 8 can be removed. Comment addressed. 2. [14-302 (B)(1)] Please add a date of last revision. Comment addressed. 3. [14-302A] Include the standard note that the parcel contains a building site that complies with Section 4.2.1 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. Comment addressed. 4. [14-303(I)] See Engineering comment below. Comment addressed. 5. [14-303 (L)] New public drainage and stormwater facility easements will require a deed of dedication to be recorded with the plat. Once all revisions to the plat have been made, staff from the Engineering Division will draft the deeds and transmit them to the applicant. When the plat is ready to be submitted to the County for signature/approval, signed hard copies of the deeds will also need to be submitted so that the County Executive and County Attorney can sign them. Please contact Engineering Division staff directly if you have further questions about the deeds. Comment stands. 6. [14-302(14)] There are two options for dedicating the land to public use. a. The Plat can have a label/callout that identifies the acreage of the land and a note that states that this R/W is hereby dedicated to the County for public use, or. b. The land can be formally dedicated to the Commonwealth of Virginia (VDOT) for public use as seen in the most recent submittal. This option requires a deed of dedication that will need to be reviewed and approved by VDOT prior to plat approval. The County will not sign and approve the Plat until this deed is ready for recordation along with the plat. e. Staff recommends option a above. Please revise the note as seen in the previous submittal. Comments addressed. Comments from Other Reviewers: Albemarle County Engineering Services (Engineer) —John Anderson, janderson2@albemarle.org —No objection. Once all plat review comments are addressed, and once SWM Facility Maintenance Agreement is recorded (not sure if it is, or not, ... will check), then Engineering can format SWM Facility /public drainage deeds, and forward to CAO (County Attorney's Office) for review. Please let me know when all reviewers' comments have been addressed. We will format deeds as soon as possible. Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA) — Richard Nelson, melson@serviceauthority.org — Approved (4/5/2022). I recommend the updated plat for approval. As a general note for the owner; recordation of the ACSA deed will be required prior to unlocking the new meter. Please provide the deed book and page number of the recorded plat so we can update the deed of easement. Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) — Doug McAvoy, douglas.mcavoy(a)vdot.virginia.gov —No additional comments.
