RE: Foothill Crossing II- VSMP Plan Amendment #6 (WPO 201700020)
Thank you for the comments dated April 8, 2022 on the above referenced project. Below are detailed responses to the remaining
comments.
A. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
1. This comment is acknowledged. The SWPPP will be updated once the plan is approved.
B. Pollution Prevention Plan (PPP)
2. This comment is acknowledged. The PPP will be updated once the plan is approved.
C. Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP)
1. Sheet 5 has been revised in the lower middle portion of the page to include'boxed'text reading'Splash blocks shall be
installed at all downspouts not connected to the drainage system. The downspouts along the rear portions of the homes on
lots 35-41 & 47-55 require splash blocks.'
2. Sheets 9 and SO have been added at the back of the set to show the grading in better detail.
3. Revised SCS and routing calculations have been provided reflecting the amended subareas DA 2B West and DA 3C. An
energy balance calculation has also been provided for the 2B West Pond, as requested.
4. Revised VRRM calculations have been provided, reflecting the amendment's new layout.
5. Sheet 5's second paragraph under the bubbled section entitled Water quantity' has been revised and no longer references
the 1% rule. The paragraph now mandates splash blocks be installed at the downspouts along the rear portions of the
homes on lots 35-41 & 47-55. There will be no concentrated runoff generated within DA 3C.
6. Sheet 7 has been added to this set to assist with the inspections and as-asbuilt processes. This sheet shows the requested
layout, profile, maintenance requirements and as -built requirements for the wet pond.
D. Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (ESCP)
1. The previous ESC plan found to be acceptable has not been modified with this resubmittal.
