RE: SDP-03-084 Albemarle Baptist Church Preliminary Site Plan
Dear Mr Sanders:
The above referenced site plan was administratively approved on this date
The approval of the preliminary site plan is valid for(1)one year in accordance with Zoning Ordnance Section 32.4 3.1.
Therefore,the preliminary approval shall expire December 17,2004. If the preliminary site plan approval expires, a new
application must be filed and processed.
Please address all of the requirements and conditions listed below and submit eight(8)tentative plan copies to the
Department of Planning and Community Development. This letter must be submitted with the tt ntative plans, as a
checklist,to document that you have addressed all requirements or conditions,or the tentative p1.,n will be denied.
The Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and the BMP Stotmwater Management Plan, with the as;ociated applications and
fees,may also be submitted with the eight(8)tentative Plans. Failure to do so will result in a sei arate application to be
filed with the Engineering Department at a later date.
After the initial tentative plan submittal,each department/agency will contact you to discuss any remaining conditions.
After all aforementioned department/agencies'nave granted a tentative approval,you may submit the final mylars (2 sets),
one blueprint copy, final site plan application, final site plan fee,and a copy of all written tentatr'e approvals to the
Department of Planning and Community Development by 5:00 p.m.on any Monday Assuming hat the final site plan
mylars reflect all tentative approvals, signing of the plans will occur within one week.
The final site plan will be subject to all final site plan requirements(Zoning Ordinance Section 3 '.6), in addition to the
following conditions.
The Planning Department shall not accept submittal of the final site plan for signature until tenta ive approvals for the
following conditions have been obtained.The final site plan shall not be signed until the followii g conditions are met.
A. Planning Department approval to include:
A. [32 7 9]A landscape plan in conformance with Section 32.7.9 of the Zoning Ordinance
B. (32.7.5.3]Written approval from the Virginia Department of Health.
B.Engineering Department approval to include:
The following items must be reviewed and approved by the Engineering Department before tents five approval of the final
site plan can be granted. A completed submittal form and application,available at the Engineerri Lg Department,must
accompany all submittals. The required number of copies and the required fees are indicated on he form and application.
A. An erosion control plan,narrative and computations. [18-32.7.4.3, 17-203]

F.Revision to the plan:The parking area will nccd to be curbed,with gutter on the downhill side and drainage outfall to
the proposed stormwater management facility. Please provide CG-2 around the parking area,parking islands,and

VDOT approval will also be required for final site plans and computations must accompany site )tan submittals
C. Albemarle County Building Codes and Zoning Services approval to include:
Final tentative approval from the Department of Building Code and Zoning Services will be subj!et to the following
conditions: (The following conditions are those that have been identified at this lime Additional conditions may be added
or eliminated based on further review.)

Review Board
