The proposed location of the storage shed is in the eastern portion of the site. The proposed shed location will occupy 2 of the existing gravel parking spaces (attached). The site will still provide the required minimum of 62 parking spaces. The site includes an original provision of 71 spaces on the original approved site plan, SDP2004-30. A deduction of 2 spaces in association with a shed approved by LOR #1 to SDP2004-30 (6.7.2011) and an additional deduction of 2 spaces for the current application will result in a provision of 67 spaces. This is your first letter of revision for SDP2007-22. A total of three Letters of Revision are allowed for the site plan before changes to the plan will require submission of a site plan amendment. In the past, we have contracted to have the property maintained and at times this has resulted in lawnmowers and other equipment sitting on the property which neither serves the Church nor the County with respect to proper appearance. That observation along with other considerations such as rising costs has led us to purchase our own equipment for grounds maintenance and we are seeking county approval for proper placement of an 12 X 20 ft (240 sq ft) gambrel -style storage shed. We propose siting the storage shed at the north end of the parking lot in an area that is designated as gravel parking spaces in the original site plan. It would be situated at the right-hand side closest to the existing sidewalk and I have designated it on the site plan with a yellow box. This site is hidden from view by a slope on the north, more than a hundred feet of trees on the east, the slope with existing building on the south and there is no view from the west which is a wooded property. The building will have a single overhead garage door access on the east side and will be painted to a near match of the church building color.
