The site plan amendment has been updated to address the remaining county and VDOT comments on the project.
Below is a summary of how the comments have been addressed:
A. General —Bill Fritz
1. Plan is ready for approval, once all the other agency comments have been addressed.
B. Fire/Rescue
No remaining comments
C. Building Official
No remaining comments
D. Engineering —John Anderson
1. Site plan ready for approval with VSMP approval (payment of the nutrient credits).
E. VDOT (Adam Moore)
1. The access Management Exception Request has been updated as requested, and resubmitted directly
to the VDOT reviewer.
i. Added Crash data information
ii. Added mitigation and justification information.
F. ARB (Khristopher Taggart)
1. Comment #2 —A screening fence has been added in lieu of the plantings at the island, as requested.
The screening fence matches the screening fence adjacent to the dumpster enclosure.
2. Comment #2—the dumpster enclosure material and color have been labeled on the site plan and
details sheet. The screening fence has been added and detailed on the site plan.
3. Comment #4—the mechanical screening fence has been updated, labeled, coordinated, and detailed.
4. Comment #6—the lighting plan and other sheets have been updated to correctly show the relocation
of the pole. The lighting plan calls for the installation of a new light fixture and details the light
fixture. It also specifies a maximum height for the fixture of 20'. The other sheets have been
coordinated as well.
