Applicant wishes to locate a duplex dwelling on
property containing 35.85 acres on north side of Route 692
and near its intersection with Route 29 South.
The applicant wishes to utilize an access road which
is presently under consideration for closing by the Board
of Supervisors. Said roadway is old Route 29. The closing
is highly controversial at the present time. Access to
the property by this abandoned roadway from Route 29 is
a safety hazard.
The applicant has stated if he can not use the subject
roadway he does not want to proceed with the permit.
The staff would suggest deferral until disposition is
made on the subject abandoned road.
