RE: Letter of Revision #2 & County -Wide Certificate of Appropriateness for SDP2011-00032
Greenbrier 7-Eleven
To Whom It May Concern,
SDP201100032 is a site plan with one letter of revision for tax map parcel 061 WO-02-OB-00300. The
1.144-acre property has a 7-Eleven convenience store, an Exxon gas station, and a Jiffy Lube on site. The
first letter of revision was approved in September 2012, which included changes to the oil/water
separator, building finished floor elevation, and relevant stormwater management design and calculations.
This second letter of revision proposes the addition of one dumpster pad, dumpster, and enclosure to serve
the operations of the 7-Eleven; one existing dumpster is present to the rear of the Jiffy Lobe. The new
12x24' concrete dumpster pad is proposed in the existing landscape island, immediately south of the 7-
Eleven store and the brick enclosure of the store's mechanical equipment. Curb, asphalt, and landscaping
in this area is proposed to be removed to accommodate the construction of the dumpster pad. The 6'
enclosure of the dumpster pad would be wooden board and would have a natural wood finish. Any
removed landscaping would be replaced within the same island. Landscaping in the area would only be
removed to allow for the construction of the pad and to allow for adequate spacing between the replaced
plantings. The dumpster pad enclosure would screen the new dumpster from the Entrance Corridor and
the replaced landscaping would provide denser planting along the edge of the enclosure. The 6' wood
board fence and proposed landscaping in this area would mitigate any potential impacts to the Entrance
Corridor.
