Show existing water main on utility plan. A typical meter box should be shown, to scale, if the meter will be 5/8" or V. A 1-inch threaded plug should be called out at the end of the water main stubout with 1-inch type k copper going to the meter box. Include TD-10 "Typical Service Lateral Installation" detail. Some of these comments are based on the assumption that the site will be served by a 5/8-inch or 1-inch meter. Reviewing the fixture counts will help determine the best way to establish a connection to the water main stubout.
