1. A VSMP plan will need to be reviewed/approved/bonded prior to site plan approval.
2. Confirm if drainage design was provided with WPO plan, if not please provide.
3. Include drainage structure profiles.
4. Sheet 4: Adjust grade to be 2:1 or flatter near the parking corner (3)91' & (3)92' contour.

Hi Justin,
Below are some comments for Take 5 Pantops:
Provide fixture counts to determine meter size.
Show existing water main on utility plan.
A typical meter box should be shown, to scale, if the meter will be 5/8" or V.
A 1-inch threaded plug should be called out at the end of the water main stubout with 1-inch type k copper going to
the meter box.
Include TD-10 "Typical Service Lateral Installation" detail.
Some of these comments are based on the assumption that the site will be served by a 5/8-inch or 1-inch meter.
Reviewing the fixture counts will help determine the best way to establish a connection to the water main stubout.

Just checking to see how that review was going and if you guys were going to have any comments? I'm guessing
you will need some fixture counts but I wasn't sure if you would need anything else.

The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Shimp Engineering, dated 16
April 2022, and find it to be generally acceptable.

A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
