Smith (Property Owner & Applicant) Rachel Moon, Project Representative 912 E High St. rachel@shimp-engineering.com (434)227-5140 RE: 1906 Avon Street Community Meeting (ZMA2022-00004) Dear Neighbor, We invite you to share comments and ask questions regarding our request to rezone tax map parcels 09000- 00-00-03300, 09000-00-00-033BO and 09000-00-00-033CO from R-1 Residential to R-15 Residential. The three parcels, totaling 3.643 acres, are located adjacent to Faith Temple Church and Avon Park, and are directly across Avon Street from the Spring Hill Village development. We request to rezone the property to R-15 to allow for a maximum of 38 residential units. The residential units are proposed primarily as single-family attached units, such as townhomes, and small multifamily buildings, proposed as quadplexes. The site design features a vehicular connection to Hathaway Street and a central greenspace area. We invite you to ask questions and share comments about the proposed project, County review procedures, and relevant regulations and policies of the County applicable to the proposed project at a virtual community meeting. The virtual meeting will be held through an online video stream on Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m. in conjunction with the 5th & Avon Community Advisory Committee meeting.
