(Map A102 depicts the wooded area next to Rt 29 and the existing wooded fence line along the adjoining property.) • In addition, pines have been planted above and beside the proposed building location, which will provide another layer of screening. t jx,;ip e s y w «v , ; re: .."!*,. ' • g mx ; p Ty-YY C2 A _ .. .. S { • ,fit" a+ Page 1 of • r%' y • The Second map — Map A102 the Proposed Layout gives a more detailed look at the Farm Worker Housing Facility. • There will be two low profile buildings — an approximately 35'-4" x 40' building for the kitchen and eating area and a 35'-4" x 139' living and bathroom area. There will be 12' between the two buildings • The buildings will have concrete foundations with concrete slab on grade, all wood frame walls with exterior walls to be load bearing to support prefabricated wood trusses, plywood exterior walls and roof sheathing, finished with asphalt shingles and vinyl siding. The interior walls and ceilings will be sheathed with type-x drywall. • The outside lighting will be attached to the buildings to light the parking lot and entry doors. The light bulbs will not exceed 90 watts. • The proposed 42' x 130' parking area will be located on the northern side of the buildings, where it (and the lighting) will be less visible from adjoining landowners and Rt 29 • A screened dumpster enclosure will adjoin the parking lot. • The maximum number of occupants will be approximately 50. However, the regulations of the Federal Migrant Housing Authority, The Virginia Employment Commission Migrant Housing Division, and the Health Department will determine what the maximum occupancy will be. • Below is a picture of a Farm Worker Housing Facility which is very similar to what is being proposed to be built al - - Page 2 of 3 • The Third Map — depicts the elevations, the critical slope locations, and the water protection ordinance buffers • Water for the facility will come from a well. There is currently one on the property, which will be tested to determine if it will be sufficient or if an additional well will need to be drilled to comply with the Federal, State and Local requirements. • Since there are no fire hydrants located in Covesville, the Farm Worker Housing Facility will rely on the North Garden Fire Department, which is located five (5) miles north of the proposed site, for fire suppression. There are four (4) lakes less than one mile from the Facility that the Fire Department can hook into to refill their trucks if needed. Please note that there will be multiple fire extinguishers located in the facility. • The number of occupants of This Farm Worker Housing Facility will fluctuate through out the year, with the most being during the harvest months of July-November. • This facility is for living purposes and all work will be performed on farms and facilities owned and/or operated by Crown Orchard Company. • There will be a "Housing Manager" living in the Facility who will enforce the rules and regulations of the Facility.
