My name is Kevin McCollum and I am in the process of reviewing your application for a Bed and Breakfast at 6854
Rockfish Gap Tpke. Everything in your application is complete and there are no Zoning issues that I have found, but
before I approve the BnB I need a copy of your Building Official, Fire Official, and Virginia Department of Health
approvals. If you have those you can forward them along to me or if you need to contact these departments the
information is listed on the application. I have highlighted this section on the attached application for your reference.

I'm writing to follow up on your application for a Bed and Breakfast at 6854 Rockfish Gap Tpke, permit BNB201900014.
Your application is currently incomplete. In order to complete your application, confirm you have completed the
following:
1) Building Inspection

2) Fire Marshal Inspection

3) Virginia Department of Health Determination of No Inspection Needed/Inspection

Please forward to me approvals you have from any of these inspections. If your application is approved, you will receive
an email with a pdf copy of your approved application.
The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors is considering a Zoning Text Amendment that may impact your pending
application. If your application is approved prior to August 7, 2019, your use may continue under the current
regulations with no changes. If your application is not completed and approved by the date the Board adopts new
regulations, your use may be required to follow new regulations. For updates on this Zoning Text Amendment, visit the
Albemarle County Homestays website.
Following the approval of your application, you will need to contact the Finance Department to obtain your Business
License and begin remitting taxes. I've attached the Finance Department's pdf guide for you.
