We are also a sports club with over 4,500 members (adults and kids), a Golf Course, and the home for three UVA Athletic teams. Employees We employ over 300 employees between all areas of the resort and the bulk work between the hours of 7am-7pm, with a smaller number working between 7pm-7am as the hotel is technically open 24 hours for safety and security. Parking A Full parking study was done by VHB in 2017 providing us a full analysis of all parking within the Resort. Parking Supply information can be found in the attached documents from VHB. A Parking Summary and expectation for the planned event series can be found below. Total Parking Supply Resort-553 UVA Foundation Lot- 85 BH Office Park (after Spm)- 116 Total Spaces- 754 spaces - Subtract Estimated Employees working 75 - Subtract Estimated Vehicles from Hotel Guests- 185 (168 rooms, so just over 1 car per room) - Subtract Mill Room Guests (they will be attending the show too) Avg 25 at a time on a flow - Subtract Random late office tenants still there after 5pm- 25 - Subtract late Sports Club Member use- 50 = 360 Spaces occupied by "typical" resort use = 394 Spaces available to the Winter Event participants. We estimate that we will Average between 500-1500 attendees per show with a MAX of 2,000. A conservative estimate of 3ppl per vehicle is used which means we should see a range of 167-667 vehicles TOTAL for the show. Tickets are sold for arrival on the % hour, and we anticipate most guests will be at the event for 90 minutes max. We are selling''/: of our guest rooms to be 100% associated with ticket sales, meaning that no matter what 89 of the guest rooms and associated guest room vehicles will be associated with the event. This likely will be higher per night. Max Scenario (200 tickets sold per %: hour, or 67 cars — 9 (hotel guest cars- 9x10 %: hour increments =90 hotel cars)= 58 cars to be parked per %: hour from outside attendees 4:30pm 360 spaces occupied to start + 58 = 418 S:OOpm 418+58= 476 5:30pm 476+58=534 6:OOpm 534-58+58= 534 6:30pm 534-58+58= 534 7:OOpm on The same trend for the rest of the night as the ins should match the outs • This would show that we should have ample supply of parking for our normal resort use as well as the special event flow on a MAX night. New or Alternate Use Planned Boar's Head Resort plans to host a Winter Walking Light show experience for hotel guests and the local community around the back trails of the main Hotel. This show will bring guests into Charlottesville/Albemarle from out of town but also importantly provide activity to our local community. Some details of the planned Show/Experience: Event Type- Ticketed- Pre -sold in 30 minute increments from 4:30pm-9pm with the lights being turned off at 10pm nightly Each ''/: hour time slot will sell a maximum of 200 tickets or a max of 2,000 attendees on a flow from 4:30pm-9pm Show Length- The walking light show is roughly .43 miles long around the lake (Map Attached). We would anticipate that most guests will attend for 60-90 minutes max to experience the lights and the associated market/food and beverage. Dates- The show will be open from November 26" (Thanksgiving) until January 31" every year. The concentration of show dates will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, with a few extra nights around Christmas, and cutting Thursday's from January. Our estimate is around 40 show nights each year. Attendees- Our estimate is that we would have between 500-1500 averages in attendance with over 250 of those attendees staying at Boar's Head resort in our hotel accommodations. With a max of 200 tickets per %: hour and a 90 minute max attendance, we would only see roughly 600 people spread out over the 3.54 acres. This is no more than many of our larger hosted events/groups at the Resort.
