HomeMy WebLinkAboutWPO202100064 Correspondence 2022-06-29June 24, 2022 MEMORANDUM To: Mr. John Anderson, PE County of Albemarle, Virginia From: Mr. Eric Woolley, PE Woolley Engineering Regarding: DS Tavern WPO Amendment #1 to WP0202100064 (TM 59 P 15A) VSMP/WPO Amendment Plan Responses to comments from County Staff With this memo, we are responding to the comments that were directed to our office following the review of our VSMP/WPO Amendment plan for the DS Tavern project located at 3449 Ivy Road. The comments were received in written format and dated May 6, 2022 (Revised May 11, 2022). Below, we have provided our responses to the correlated comments as numbered on your memo. A. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) 1. SWPPP a. The following are intended to replace documents within the existing approved SWPPP document: i. Amended plan sheets are attached to this memorandum for review. Once these items are approved they will be sent to the Contractor for insertion into the SWPPP kept on -site. ii. A revised Registration Statement stating the increased limits of disturbance and revised estimated construction dates is attached to this memorandum. iii. The Pollution Prevention Plan exhibit has been amended and is attached to this memorandum. iv. There are no proposed changes to the responsible parties listed in the existing SWPPP document for pollution prevention practices and VESCH compliance inspections. B. Pollution Prevention Plan (PPP) 1. See response to l.a.iii. above. C. Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) 1. Stormwater from the DS Tavern site will discharge into an existing stormwater conveyance system located on the Halifax House property. The stormwater narrative on both the cover sheet and the stormwater plan sheet (C6.0) have been revised to state that this project will meet 9VAC25-870-66B.1. for stormwater quantity regulations. This note is acknowledgment that 0.29 lb of nutrient bank offset credits have already been purchased for this project to meet stormwater quality regulations. d. This comment regarding the current bond for the project has been acknowledged. 3. C5.1: The pipe in question is an existing pipe that will have a final slope of 0.56%. The profile for this existing pipe has been revised for clarity. 4. Calculation Booklet: a. Revise State Regulation quotes 5. The title for the Calculation Booklet has been revised to include the WPO number for the approved plan. D. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) 1. It has been acknowledged that the ESCP is approved. I hope that these responses, in combination with the revised site plan have satisfied the deficiencies as noted in your comment memorandum.
