Dear Alan,
On behalf of Misty Mountain LLC we offer the following responses and plan revisions to comments
dated March 4, 2022. Our Responses are in bold italic text below each comment.
1. 1 have no concerns or objections to approval of the Special Use Permit, but advise that
designs for the new septic system(s) will need to be approved by this office, and wells by
the Office of Drinking Water prior to approval of a site plan or issuance of construction
permits.
Acknowledged. The wells have been permitted and drilled, and the septic systems are to be
permitted soon.

On behalf of Misty Mountain LLC we offer the following responses and plan revisions to comments
dated February 3, 2022. Our Responses are in bold italic text below each comment.
1. Analyze the turn -lane warrants when preparing the site plan.
A left turn lane is required. A Design Waiver has been submitted to VDOT for this
requirement.
2. Note that the final plan must show conformance with the VDOT Road Design Manual
Appendices B(1) and F, as well as any other applicable standards, regulations, or other
requirements.
Acknowledged. The entrance is to be upgraded to comply with the commercial entrance
specifications.
