This letter is to notify you as an adjoining property owner to above listed property that a special exception application has
been submitted to permit a resident manager to fulfill the residency requirements for a homestay use.

PROPOSED: Reduction of minimum yards for a homestay use.

This petition will be reviewed at the ALBEMARLE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING ON WEDNESDAY,
JULY 20, 2022. The meeting will also be conducted through electronic communication means.
Special exceptions must be acted on by the Board of Supervisors, and may be granted after notice to abutting property
owners and upon consideration of whether:
i. There would be any adverse impact(s) to the surrounding neighborhood;
ii. There would be any adverse impact(s) to the public health, safety, or welfare;
iii. The proposed special exception would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and any applicable master
or small -area plan(s); and
iv. The proposed special exception would be consistent in size and scale with the surrounding neighborhood.

11, 2022.
