To whom it may concern:
Please find my attached "Homestay Zoning Clearance Application".
I wanted to include a few notes for clarification.
l . I have included a survey of the foundation when the house was
first started. I have changed it to show other characteristics
such as the covered front porch and rear open decks. On this
same survey, I have noted in red the location of available
parking spaces. There are at least 8 spaces that are available.
There are 3 from inside the garage, 4 spaces that are adjacent
to the west side of property, and space for 3-5 cars in front of
the garage door area.
2. The survey shows the setbacks of the house from the property
lines.
3. The survey also shows the location of the address signage at
the entrance to the driveway on Crozet Avenue and other
address signage attached on the house.
4. 1 have attached plans for our recently completed house. In
these plans, the exterior lighting has been noted in red on the
elevation drawings.
5. The proposed Homestay space is also noted on the plans in
red. The bedroom that we propose to use is found above the
3-car garage. The area is noted on the main plan as one large
room. During the course of construction, we modified the
building permit with a more detailed layout of the guest space
above the garage. The detailed layout is attached to the last
page of the plans.
b. My family lives at the proposed site and I will be the on -site
manager of the homestay.
