July 1st, 2022 Re: Variance Request Project title: Belvedere Phase 5 -VSMP Project file number: WPO-2020-00034 Drainage area to sediment trap facility Mr. Pohl, In our preparation of the VSMP amendment#4 plans,we discovered that the increased post-developed drainage area from the back of the townhouses and yards for lots 245-254 on Fowler Street would increase the drainage area from 2.74 acres to 3.04 acres. While this does not appear to affect the final dry pond design it does increase the drainage area of our temporary sediment trap. The required wet and dry volumes for the sediment trap are accounted for in the as-built condition but the variance to the minimum standard for sediment traps would need to be granted in order for the developer to keep the temporary sediment trap. Variances to the Minimum Standards may be waived by the Plan-Approving Authority during construction.
