application has been submitted. The application is as follows:
AP202200002 801 Franklin Street Appeal of a Zoning Determination (Sign 70) -- John Harvey Falls,
Property Owner/Allied Portable, LLC., Applicant: The applicant is appealing the Zoning Administrator's
determination (dated May 5, 2022) that the storage of portable toilets in the Flood Hazard Overlay District is
not a permitted use (County Code § 18-30.3.11). The property entrance is located at 801 Franklin Street
about 200 feet north of the intersection with Nassau Street. The property is identified as Parcel 07700-00-
00-021A0, zoned Light Industrial (LI), and is located in the Scottsville Magisterial District.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold an electronic meeting on Tuesday August 2 2022 at 2.00 p.m.
This meeting is being held pursuant to and in compliance with Ordinance No. 20-A(16), An Ordinance to
Ensure the Continuity of Government During the COVID-19 Disaster. Opportunities for the public to access
and participate in the public hearing will be posted at https://www.albemarle.org/community/county-
calendar. Participation will include the opportunity to comment on those matters for which comments from
the public will be received.
