Both properties have the same owner and they desire the two canopies to be visually consistent. The new canopy will have a full hipped standing seam metal roof with the same pitch and color (Hartford Green) as the Shadwell Market. The canopy will be supported by four painted 10" tube steel columns each with a 40" high brick base and stone cap similarly to the Shadwell Market. Brick will match the existing GoCo store. Stone cap will be similar to the Shadwell Market. Two new 6" high concrete pump islands will span between each pair of columns with one new fuel dispenser on each island. Project is compatible with the surrounding area and Entrance Corridor by reflecting the canopy aesthetics of the nearby Shadwell Market that was approved by the ARB in 2002. The only change being brick will be substituted for stone at the column bases to match the on -site existing store in the possible event that structure is rehabilitated sometime in the future. Project cannot be seen from the Entrance Corridor when approaching the site in either direction from both Rt. 250 or Rt. 22. The new canopy can only be viewed when directly in front of the site on Rt. 250 and partially thru the trees when directly behind the site on Rt. 22. Existing site parking, topography, utilities, stormwater and landscaping will remain unchanged by the canopy replacement. 1645 Redwing Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22911 434.974.1620 bowens@wloarchitect.com www.wloarchitect.com DELTA= 0.30*33' CB=N64.52'51"E C=153.00' T=76.50' A=153.00' R=17218.73' IS IS DELTA= 0.39'11" CB=N65°27'43'E C=32.99' T=16.50' A=32.99' R=2894.79' i H Z n o= C cv) U ?o a 0 U.
