This letter is in response to the attached Letter of Revision Request dated April 12, 2022. The Department
of Community Development grants approval of this LOR for the following modification to SDP 1993-01,
depicted on the modified site sheets and described below.
• Installation of drive -up payment drop box and elimination of one parking space adjacent
to fire hydrant
This change is noted in the attached request and plan. This is the fourth Letter of Revision for this site,
approved through administrative practice. Any further changes to the plan will require submission in the
form of a site plan amendment application.

To Whom it May Concern:
The Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA) is submitting a Letter of Revision to
SDP1993-1 (Previous Minor Site Plans SDP2015-13 & SDP2018-61). The proposed changes
are depicted on a plan page from SDP2018-61 which depicts the most up to date overall view
of the ACSA Spotnap Facility at 168 Spotnap Road. The ACSA proposes a conversion of one
(1) parking space to facilitate the installation of a drive -up drop box for payments. The ACSA
currently exceeds the required number of parking spaces for the Spotnap Facility and this
proposed change will not impact parking for employees or customers. The elimination of this
specific parking spot will remove a parking spot immediately adjacent to a fire hydrant. The
conversion will be made through the installation of a concrete island with 6" concrete curbing.
The payment drop box will be installed adjacent to the travel -way in the parking lot, with
protective bollards on both sides. The location will provide adequate site distance for drivers to
safely maneuver through the parking lot and back to Spotnap Road. This drop box will also
remove the requirement for customers to park and traverse the parking lot and travel -way to
enter the building which will ultimately increase the safety for our customers.
