RE: SUB-2022-00120 Glenbrook Phase IIB Easement Plat
Dear Mr. Wentiand:
I have reviewed your comment letter dated July 22, 2022 and offer the following responses.
My responses are below in red.
Planning:
1. [14-302(A)(4-5), 14-303(L)] Easements. Provide width dimension(s) for all existing
easements. Rev 1- Comment Addressed
2. [14-303(D)] Acreage.
a. Identify TMP 56K1-A2 (Open Space) on the plat map. Rev 1- Comment Addressed
6. Provide the acreage of each existing lot Rev 1- Comment Addressed
3. [14-312] Existing buildings. Albemarle County GIS indicates there might be a building
on TMP 56K1-183. If any buildings are within 50 feet of the revised public drainage
easement, please locate them on the plat map. Rev 1- Comment Addressed
4. [14-303(H)] Monuments. Identify the material of all permanent reference monuments.
Rev. 1: This comment is driven by a specific ordinance requirement for all plats.
As you've indicated that irons were set with the prior subdivision plat, an option
may be to label corners on the plat as "IF" and add "IF - Iron Found" to the legend.
Feel free to call to discuss further.
The Iron Found designation has been added to the Legend on Sheet 2. It has been
highlighted with a red rectangle on the review copy.
5. [Comment] Reminder that revised plats must include the original date of drawing and
the revision date(s) of each subsequent version of the plat
