This Stop Work Order is being issued because of the following deficiencies: Deficiency: Field exhibit for additional E&S measures submitted to Albemarle Co. Corrective Action: Field exhibit submitted to improve E&S controls approved by Albemarle County 8/2/22 Deficiency: Graded denuded areas observed Corrective Action: Continue with stabilization on areas that are dormant for over 14days Deficiency: Unprotected stockpile areas observed Corrective Action: Apply stockpile protections Deficiency: Observed the stabilization process on DD Corrective Action: Stabilize DD & conveyance channel and area to perimeter SF adding matting on slopes Deficiency: SB B observed functional and clean. Sediment eroding around head wall outlet pipe releasing sediment into outlet stone protection Corrective Action: Reinstall outlet protection and use stone protection around outlet headwall. Corrective Action: Continue to remove discharged sediment from the stream utilizing buckets and shovels documenting length and volume of sediment removed in SWPPP book Deficiency: Fuel tank liner replaced Corrective Action: Observed the replacement of fuel tank liner A sworn complaint has been made by the Albemarle County Erosion Control Inspector below. This STOP WORK ORDER shall remain in effect for seven (7) days. If satisfactory repairs have not been made within seven (7) days, the County may elect to issue another Stop Work Order, and/or petition the Circuit Court for penalties and relief with regard to this violation. Reinspections as a result of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $170 fee for the first reinspection and $270 for each subsequent reinspection for single-family dwelling units (§ 17-207). Reinspections as a result of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $283 fee for the first reinspection and $383 for each subsequent reinspection for VESCP and VSMP permits (§ 17-207 and § 17-208). A 4% technology fee is due with each payment.
