This bond reduction does not affect VDOT bond for Sunset Ave. Ext. widening, striping, or mill /pave. 2. CBR values for Sun Valley Drive (see May 6, 2021 F&R letter with summary table (CV); F&R and calculated pavement design and As -built values (D, DP, SSV, etc.): a. CBRs / Sun Valley: Sta. 27+00 =2.0; Sta. 33+00 =3.2 — use Ave. CBR to calculate SSV (ref. 2018 VDOT pavement design guide): i. SSV = (Ave. CBR tests x 2/3) x RF (resiliency factor) ii. use RF=1.0: b. Atlas Industrial Services pipe video inspection summaries (CV) indicate several defects rated Grade 2: `Defects that have not begun to deteriorate — pipe unlikely to fail for at least 20 years.'
