1. Add the standard lighting note to the plan: "Each outdoor luminaire equipped with a lamp that
emits 3,000 or more initial lumens shall be a full cutoff luminaire and shall be arranged or shielded
to reflect light away from adjoining residential districts and away from adjacent roads. The spillover
of lighting from luminaires onto public roads and property in residential or rural areas zoning
districts shall not exceed one half footcandle."
A revised note has been included on the plan. It does not have the standard wording. The lighting
company does not want to use the "full cutoff' terminology because it is no longer used by IES. The
alternate wording meets the intent of the ordinance.
2. Revise the lighting plan to show the proposed color temperature for the canopy lights as 3000K for a
warm white light.
The description in the luminaire schedule includes "30" which means 3000K.
3. Reduce illumination under the canopy to not exceed 30 fc; 20 fc max is preferred.
Illumination under the canopy has been reduced to a max of 24.5 fc.
