Under § 17-902 of the Albemarle County Code, you are hereby notified to immediately cease
all land disturbing activities on the above referenced property except for work to address
any necessary corrections as given in writing by the County Erosion Control Inspector. This
Stop Work Order is being issued because of the following deficiencies:
Deficiency: Repair slope erosion on outlet side of the Fire road
and reinstall SF and road ditchline, stabilize

A sworn complaint has been made by the Albemarle County Erosion Control Inspector below. This
STOP WORK ORDER shall remain in effect for seven (7) days. If satisfactory repairs have not
been made within seven (7) days, the County may elect to issue another Stop Work Order, and/or
petition the Circuit Court for penalties and relief with regard to this violation.
Reinspections as a result of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $170 fee for
the first reinspection and $270 for each subsequent reinspection for single-family dwelling
units (§ 17-207). Reinspections as a result of this notice to verify corrective measures will
incur a $283 fee for the first reinspection and $383 for each subsequent reinspection for
VESCP and VSMP permits (§ 17-207 and § 17-208). A 4% technology fee is due with each
payment.

Comments: This was a a reinspection for a Stop Work Order issued on 7/28/22 went sediment
was discharged into state waters. The corrective action list has not been completed
and sediment removal has not been confirmed. A Stop Work Order will be reissued

enforcement actions will be applied.
