Sliver of (New) Galaxie Farm Lane north of lot 54 that tapers to a point north of Open Space A (at Lot 51-52 shared lot line) is problematic. Maintenance may be declined by one or both of County of Albemarle School Board or VDOT for portion that is Variable Private R/W on TMP 91-11 or that is public RW. VDOT may elect not to maintain public RW immediately north of Lot 54 /N end Vera Rubin Place. Proposed Var private Nar public RW is problematic from maintenance and ownership standpoints. Dispute may give rise to pavement /facility maintenance issues or neglect in the future. Entities (VDOT, County of Albemarle) may reject responsibility for facilities they do not own.
