representatives and/or affiliates thereof, including but not limited to, Blair Williamson and Valerie
W. Long, to submit land use applications on the corporation's behalf in connection with a proposed
special use permit application for a new asphalt plant to be constructed on the Property in the same
general location that SL Williamson and Company currently operates an asphalt plant at the Property.
Such land use applications may include special use permit applications, site plan applications,
building permit applications, bond applications and agreements, and any other applications as may be
necessary or required by Albemarle County, Virginia to permit the construction, installation, and use
of the Property for the proposed replacement asphalt plant.

ALL of that certain tract or parcel of land, with improvements
thereon, and appurtenances thereto pertaining, lying in Albemarle
County on both sides of the right of way of the Southern Railway,
a little to the North of Red Hill, containing 222-1/4 acres, more
or less, and known as the "Townley Homestead Tract.• This is the
same land in all respects that was conveyed to J. G. Ballard, at
al., by deed of J. B. Townley and wife, at al., dated April 14,
1920, and recorded in the Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of
Albemarle County in Deed Book 173, Page 214, with which deed a
plat of the said land is recorded and is referred to for a more
complete and accurate description of said land by its mates and
bounds.
The said land was conveyed to J. B. Townley, Jr. by deed from M.
0. Fife, et al., dated February 11, 1935, and recorded in Dead
Book 226, Page 516.
As appurtenant to said 222-1/4 acres, the Grantors grant and
convey the same right of way 20 feet wide over the land of J. B.
Townley to Red Hill as the road now runs, being the right of way
conveyed to J. B. Townley, Jr. in the aforesaid deed.
Parcel 2 (Site 1601002, 14.60± Acres)
ALL of that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situate in the Sam Hiller District, Albemarle County, Virginia,
and as more particularly described in the deed from John B.
Townley, II to Superior Stone Company, Inc. dated October 3, 1941
and recorded in Deed Book 252 at Page 18 in the Clerk's Office of
the Circuit Court for Albemarle County. There is specifically
excluded and accepted from this tract a parcel containing 15.4
acres conveyed by Superior Stone Company, Inc., to Thomas P.
Hudson, Jr. by deed dated April 30, 1946 and recorded in Deed
Book 268 at Page 205 in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court
for Albemarle County.

ALL of that certain tract of land in Albemarle County near Red

Annie Wolfe; thence with Wolfe N. 32 3/4 W. 210 ft. to
an iron, at 21 ft. a large white pine; thence a new
line with Annie Gibson S44 W. at 260 ft. an iron at 633

ALL that certain tract of land containing 8-1/8 acres, more or
less, lying in Albemarle County, Virginia, near Red Hill, on the
north side of the road from Red Hill to Little Carters Bridge,
about three-quarters of a mile east of Red Hill, and consisting
of two tracts, one of 6-1/8 acres shown an plat of Hugh F. Sims,
recorded in Deed Book 132, Page 451, and of the adjoining tract
of 2 acres, bounded on the East by Thomas P. Hudson, Jr., an the
'North and East by Thomas P. Hudson, Jr. and Stonewall J. Bryant,
on the West by the Superior Stone company (formerly John Platt
Houton, formerly J. B. Townley), and on the South by Public
Highway No. 708. Reference is made to said deed and plat for a
more particular description of the property hereby conveyed.
Parcel 5 (Site 1601005, 8.20± Acres)
ALL that certain tract or parcel of land containing right and
two -tenths (8-2/10) acres, more or less, lying and situated in
Sam Miller District Albemarle County, Virginia, on the north side
of secondary highway No. 708, leading from Red Hill Depot to Mt.
Olivet Church; said land lying about one-half mile from Red Hill
Depot and being in all respects the identical land conveyed to
Thomas P. Hudson, Jr., by Stonewall J. Bryant (then unmarried) by
deed bearing date of September 26, 1942, of record in the
Albemarle County Clerk's Office in Deed Book 255, Page 321, to
which said deed and the plat recorded therewith, reference is
made for a more particular description.
Parcel 6 (Site 1601006, 265.70+ Acres)
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and situate in the
vicinity of Red Hill Depot in Sam Hiller District, Albemarle
county, Virginia, containing 265 acres, more or less, and
described as bounded on the west by the land of Thomas P. Hudson,
Jr., Pearl L. Powell (formerly Pearl L. Dudley) and John Platt
Bouton (formerly John B. Townley); on the north by said Bouton
and the Superior Stone Company (formerly Townley); on the north
east and east by the lands of Superior Stone Company (formerly
John B. Townley), the lands of the late Emmett Carter, Mrs.
Rirksey and the lands of Julian Thomas, formerly Frick; and on
the south and south west by Virginia secondary Highway No. 708,

Parcel 7 (Site 1601007, 58.50t Acres)
ALL that certain tract or parcel of land, with improvements
thereon and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise
appertaining, situate in the Village of Red Hill in the Samuel
Miller District, Albemarle County, Virginia, containing 58.5
acres, and accurately laid down and described on plat made by
Daniel Blake, Surveyor, attached to and recorded with the deed at
Dead Book 268, Page 250, and upon which plat the metes and bounds
of the lands hereby conveyed are set forth in detail.
For further detail on exceptions and options relating to the
aforesaid property, reference is made to deed dated May 1, 1946,
recorded May 18, 1946 at Deed Book 268, Page 250.
Parcels 1 through 7 are the same properties conveyed to American -
Marietta Company, an Illinois corporation, by deed from Superior
Stone Company of Virginia, Incorporated, dated June 30, 1959,
recorded August 5, 1959 in Deed Book 350, Page 531, in the
Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Albemarle County, Virginia
(the "Master Deed").
All of the above described property is conveyed subject to the
reservations and exclusions recited in the deeds described above
and also subject to easements, right of ways, and reservations
and exclusions contained in the Master Deed.
