This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County for
review:
PROJECT: SUB201700051 Glenbrook at Foothills—Preliminary Subdivision Plat
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT:White Hall
TAX MAP/PARCEL: 056000000057131, 056000000057D0, 056000000057CO3 056K00000000A2,
056K00000057B2, 56A2000006100
LOCATION: West of Park Ridge Drive and Foothill Crossing subdivision, north of Westhall
subdivision and northeast of Crozet Park, south of Buckingham Branch Railroad.
PROPOSAL: Request for preliminary plat approval to create 24 single family detached lots and 52
single family attached lots on 25.56 acres for a density of 2.97 units/acre.
ZONING: R-6 Residential -6 units/acre
PROFFERS: Yes
OVERLAY DISTRICT: EC-Entrance Corridor, Managed and Preserved Steep Slopes
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Neighborhood Density Residential — residential (3 — 6 units/acre),
supporting uses such as religious institutions, schools and other small-scale non-residential uses in
the Crozet Development Area; Urban Density Residential—residential(6-12 units/acre),supporting
uses such as religious institutions, schools, commercial, office and service uses; Light Industrial—
manufacturing, storage, distribution, with supporting office, retail, R&D, flex, commercial uses;
Greenspace—public parks, open space, environmental features.
This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee.

Plans for the proposed development are available for your review in the Department of Community
Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be available to help
with any questions, we encourage you to schedule a viewing time. Please call 296-5832 ext.3272during
business hours(8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri)to schedule an appointment. While an appointment is not required,
we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without appointments may find the materials are in use
by others and/or staff is not available to help. Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting,
please notify the Department of Community Development so that any concerns may be adequately addressed.
