Collins, the Initial Site Plan for 5 Street Station in Charlottesville, VA. The following is our comment response letter addressing comments received from Megan Yaniglos dated January 17, 2013. Each comment is addressed and responded to as follows: Comment 1: [Proffer #8] — Submit a Landfill Work Plan to DEQ. Provide the County a copy of both the submitted and approved Landfill Work Plan, as a condition of approval of the initial site plan. Also, the grading permits may be issued pending the completion of the work described within the Landfill Work Plan. If early grading is sought, Zoning will determine how much work will need to be completed from the Work Plan prior to issuing grading permit. Response 1: A Landfill Work Plan was recently submitted to the County for our review by Draper Aden & Associates. Comment 2: [32.5.2(n)] Existing and proposed improvements. Show the greenway trail that was shown on the application plan. Also, provide the overall square footage of recreational areas, percentage and acreage of all open space. Response 2: Per approved Proffer # 3, the Owner will make a $250,000 contribution to the County. The County will be responsible for the construction and layout of the greenway trail, as well as putting togcthei a master plan for the development and constructing the park and bike pedestrian system.
