On August 17, 2022, the Board of Supervisors took action on your Special Exception on Tax Map Parcel Number 05600-
00-00-067BO in the White Hall District.
The Special Exception was approved by the Board's adoption of the attached Resolution.
Please be advised that although the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on the project noted
above, no uses on the property may lawfully begin until all applicable approvals have been received and
conditions have been met. This includes:
• compliance with the approved SPECIAL EXCEPTION;
• approval of and compliance with a SITE PLAN; and
• approval of a ZONING COMPLIANCE CLEARANCE.

RESOLUTION TO APPROVE
SE202200010 OLD DOMINION VILLAGE.
BE IT RESOLVED that, upon consideration of the staff reports prepared in conjunction with the
special exception request and the attachments thereto, including staff's supporting analysis, all of the
comments received, and all of the factors relevant to the special exception in Albemarle County Code §§ 18-
5.1.11 and 18-33.9, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors hereby finds that a modified regulation
would satisfy the purposes of the Zoning Ordinance to at least an equivalent degree as the applicable
requirement.
WHEREUPON, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors hereby approves SE202200010 Old
Dominion Village and grants a modification of Albemarle County Code § 18-5.1.11 to allow a soundproofed
animal confinement to be located closer than 200 feet, but no closer than 50 feet, from an agricultural or
residential lot line.
