RE: Response Letter #1 for Forest Lakes Self Storage — Final ARB Review Submit 1
Dear Khris,
Thank you for your review of the site plan for Forest Lakes Self -Storage. This letter contains responses to
the County action letter, dated July 6, 2022. Our responses are as follows:
1. Revise the architectural drawings to include a color/material schedule.
RESPONSE: The architectural drawings have been updated to include a color/material schedule.
2. Consider providing perspective renderings from both directions on the EC street, with and
without landscaping, to help clarify the visual impact of the windowless walls.
RESPONSE: Perspectives with and without landscaping have been included for ARB review.
3. Provide specifications for proposed window glass. Show that VLT will not drop below 40% and
VLR will not exceed 30%. Glass should be clear, without tint. If tinted glass is proposed, provide
a sample for review,
RESPONSE: Comment received. Please see the color/material schedule.
4. Add the standard window glass note to the architectural plans: Visible light transmittance (VLT)
shall not drop below 40%. Visible light reflectance (VLR) shall not exceed 30%.
RESPONSE: This note has been added to the color/material schedule.
5. Revise the architectural drawings to show dashed lines that indicate the height and location(s) of
the roof mounted mechanical equipment,
RESPONSE: This detail has been added to the elevations.
6. Indicate if any ground -mounted mechanical equipment is proposed.
RESPONSE: Mechanical equipment is proposed to be rooftop mounted.

RESPONSE: A lighting plan cutsbeet from the final site plan has been included with this
submission.
the landscape plan to provide one interior parking area tree to satisfy the requirement.
RESPONSE: One interior parking area tree has been added. Please see the revised landscape
plan.
9. Please note separate sign applications are required for all proposed signs.
