The balconies will be enclosed in a phased manner over time as apartments become available for renovation. The building materials include brick veneer to match the existing brick, aluminum clad wood windows and roof shingles to match the existing, cementitious siding and trim, and other features that match or are similar to the building's existing materials. The existing bay windows, bay window roofing and siding in the areas being renovated will remain the same. Although the existing balcony lights will be removed, no other changes will be made to the existing site lighting or landscaping. The proposed project has been designed to be of a similar scale and appearance to the existing buildings on the campus. The predominant material will be brick, which will blend with most of the Westminster Canterbury buildings as well as many on along the Entrance Corridor.
