Dear Mr. Holt,
Please find attached a pdf of the revised plat per your comments dated on the instance of March
22, 2022:
1. [14-308.1] Groundwater assessment. Provide groundwater assessment fee ($391) to initiate
a Tier 2 groundwater assessment. The fee must be paid prior to plat approval.
• Acknowledged. The client will pay the fee.
2. [14-406] Remnants. Remnants shall not be created by subdivision of land. Include plat note
indicating which parcels (TMP reference) that Parcel A and Parcel B are associated with.
. TMP references are added to Parcels A and B.
3. [14-309, 14-310, and 14-416] Soils evaluations. The subdivider shall submit to the agent with
each final plat the results of percolation tests or other methods of soil evaluation used to
determine the suitability of the soil for subsurface drainfields.
. Acknowledged. The client had a soils report done and will have the report for the
soils evaluation provided.
4. [14-316] Entrance approval. The plat has been forwarded to the Virginia Department of
Transportation (VDOT) for review and approval of the proposed entrances onto public
streets. Comments will be forwarded upon receipt.
. Acknowledged.
The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use Section,
has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Commonwealth Land Surveying, LLC.,
dated January 26, 2022 and find it to be generally acceptable. If further information is desired,
please contact Willis Bedsoul at 434-422-9866. A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to
any work within the right-of-way. The owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency
Transportation and Land Use Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
• Acknowledged.
Also, I have included pdfs for the revised signature sets of the application because there was a
name change following the original set of the application. Mr. Bunch will be bringing the revised
sheets of the application to the county as early as today.
