Re: Briarwood Phase 3A
Dear Mr. Muncaster:
The plans, with Albemarle County Service Authority
specifications referenced, entitled "Final Site Plan For Briarwood
P.R.D. Phase 3A" dated August 19 , 1991, last revised September 1,
1992 , prepared by Muncaster Engineering are approved for
construction. These plans consist of two (2) sheets. One set of
approved plans is enclosed for your records. Any previously
approved plans are voided with this approval.
This approval is for basic compliance with the General
Construction Specifications of the Albemarle County Service
Authority and does not relieve the contractor from responsibility
for his work as it relates to the plans and specifications.
Albemarle County Service Authority requires that a copy of
these construction plans be on the job site to ensure no
misunderstanding and to expedite 'contractor's completion of as-
built data for your client.
This approval is valid for a period of six (6) months from
this date. If construction is not in progress at the end of this
time period, the approval shall be void.
A preconstruction conference shall be scheduled with the
project manager to ensure coordination and answer any questions.
This will be a short meeting to review the project, materials, test
methods and schedule, in order to expedite construction. Please
have the proper party call me at 296-5859 to schedule the meeting.

The pressure for water may exceed 80 psi at some meter
locations.

The below checked items apply to this site. (TM 32G, Parcels A, 83 (part))

Re: Site Plans
The following comments are from the Inspections Department and the
Fire Prevention Office:
Food Lion at Branchlands (SDP-92-021)
(plans dated March 19 , 1992)
1. Relocate the dumpster so that it is at least 15' from buildings
(including roof overhangs) and property lines, or protect it
with the building's sprinkler system.
2 . Indicate the locations of the handicapped accessible curb cuts
at the building sidewalk.
3 . The handicapped accessible parking space at the east building
wall must be designated as "van accessible" . Signage to this
effect must be provided at this space.
Briarwood - Phase 3A (SDP-92-019)
(plan revised March 18, 1992)
No comments. Approval may be granted by this office.
Winter Haven (SDP-92-023)
(plans dated March 23 , 1992)
1. Indicate the location of the nearest fire hydrant.
2 . Required fireflow is 500 gpm @ 20 psi.

Dear Tom:
This letter is to inform you that the above referenced plan
has been reviewed by this department. The plan meets with the
requirements for tentative approval with the following exception:
1 . Erosion control plan approval has not been obtained.
Once the above item has been completed we will issue
tentative approval in accordance with Section 32 . 4 . 3 . 1 of the
Zoning Ordinance and the Department of Planning and Community
Development' s Administrative Procedure Governing Site Development
Plan Approval as adopted April 16 , 1991.
