The forms and instructions to request the Water Protection Ordinance Bond amount can be found on the Community Development Department Web site at http://www.albemarle.org/upload/images/forms_center/departments/Community_Development/forms/bond s/Bond_Estimate_Request_Form.pdf The County requires a Stormwater Management/BMP Facilities Maintenance Agreement document recorded with the “Clerk of Circuit Court”. Once the WPO bonds have been posted, you may contact the Department of Community Development to arrange a pre-construction meeting with a County Erosion & Sediment Control Inspector. Should the County Inspector find the limits of disturbance increased or the need for additional control measures required to protect the site, additional fees will be required. [17-204.G] An approved erosion and sediment control plan shall be void if the owner fails to obtain a grading, building, or other permit for activities involving land disturbing activities within one (1) year after the date of the approval.
