There are still improvements to buildout the project to its full site plan. The stormwater runoff is currently directed to an area with two sediment trap structures. The largest tributary storm sewers bypass these silt traps by a Clearwater diversion between the traps. (See appendix 1) The County has asked that the conversion to the permanent stormwater facility(Biofilter)be accomplished. B. Selection of New Water Quality enhancement It is the intent of the owners of this property, in converting this facility,to utilize a different design to minimize both disturbance to a stabilized area and costs. To that end,we have opted to convert the current basin areas to an extended detention dry pond by adding some additional grading and an outlet structure. The change from biofilter to extended detention dry pond is the purpose of this amendment. C. Erosion Control Approach The disturbed area of the project measures to be approximately 25,000 s.f. Therefore, a simple amendment to the existing erosion control plan or land disturbance permit is required. An E&S amendment drawing has been prepared accordingly. D. Drainage Area Data The current approved design shows drainage areas and storm sewer designs for some 8.88 ac. (See The Cox Co. Minor Site plan amendment sheet No. C-3.0 dated 11-17-06). For the purposes of this project, routings have been developed which utilize 9.16 ac. of tributary area from the storm sewer as well as 1.17 ac. of area covering the pond itself. E. Selection of Water Quality Volume and Design Storm Event The water quality volume for the impervious area would be something approaching 476 c.y.
