William Brent Executive Director Albemarle County Service Authority P O Box 1009 Charlottesville, VA 22902 RE: ACSA Jurisdictional Area Request For Water Service To Tax Map 60, Parcel 3 Dear Mr. Brent: The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on August 7, 1996, accepted staff's recommendation to amend the service area boundary of the Albemarle County Service Authority to permit one residential connection only to Tax Map 60, Parcel 3 for water service only. Further, service to additional dwellings on this parcel, as well as to remaining parcels similarly entitled by prior easement agreement to water and/or sewer service, will be considered on a case- by-case basis and are not a part of this approval. If you should have any questions or comments regarding the above noted action, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, ci UJ V. Wayne ilimberg Director of Planning & unity Development VWC/jcf To: Wayne Cilimberg Cc: Bob Tucker From: Bill Brent Subject: Water to TMP 60-3. Date: 8/6/96 Time: 2:42PM Update: Jay Jessup informed me yesterday that the Allans closed on this property a few weeks ago so he no longer has any invlovement. He also said they had drilled a well on the site, apparently to ensure they had a viable option for water service prior to closing. One must assume they found adequate water or they would not have closed without guaranteed service. I hope the BOS will grant service but this could give them a way out if they don't want to. Since water apparently is available via the well it will also minimize any damages ACSA would have to pay them if the BOS fails to grant the connection.
