They also indicate that color compatibility between signs in a multiple business property shall be maintained. Revise the sign drawing to list a palette of three colors total, and the equivalent Pantone color numbers, for text and graphics on the individual tenant panels or Revise the sign drawing to include the following note: "All tenant panel text shall be black. There is no limit to graphic colors as long as the total number per tenant panel is limited to three and they contribute to a coordinated appearance. " • ARB Sign Guidelines state that lettering shall be in OK proportion to the overall sign and shall not overcrowd Done the sign area. The sign text 5799, THE SQUARE LEASING & MANAGEMENT, 989 -7006 appears to overcrowd the sign. Revise the sign drawing by reducing the text size to maintain 4 to 6 inches of clear space on the top, bottom and sides for the text. Dimension the drawing show the number of inches of clear space at the top, bottom and sides. • It appears that the sign is not to be illuminated, OK - noted on drawing internally or externally. If correct, add a note to the drawing stating that the sign is not to be illuminated. ARB Disregard approved comprehensive sign criteria when a Directive multi- tenant building becomes a single tenant building, with 11 -19 -12 the understanding that if /when the building is again meeting occupied by multiple tenants either the previously approved criteria will be reinstated and all new and existing signs will conform to those criteria, or new criteria will be proposed, reviewed and approved. Internally illuminated cabinet signs must have opaque backgrounds. (Opaque materials don't allow light to pass through. When lit only from behind, the color of an opaque material cannot be detected nor can objects be seen through it.) • Identification of proposed materials and colors. Include standard color id numbers (Pantone, Benjamin Moore, Acrylic, etc.) for all materials, text, graphics, base, faces, trim caps, returns, etc. • Provide accurate physical samples of all colors proposed, preferably in the material proposed. (Paint chips that accurately reflect the proposed colors are acceptable.) • Provide a site plan showing proposed landscaping around the sign, including botanical names and planting sizes. • Additional submittal materials may be required if review by the Architectural Review Board is necessary. (The applicant will be notified if this requirement applies.) WALL SIGNS ❑ A drawing, to scale, showing dimensions of the sign (length, height, depth). ❑ Elevation drawing(s) or modified photograph of the entire building, to scale and in color, showing ❑ The sign location on the building, sign height above grade, and the length of building frontage. (Paint chips that accurately reflect the proposed colors are acceptable.) • Location of proposed light fixtures and manufacturer cut sheets describing illumination type, intensity, style, shielding, color, and height. All lighting must meet ordinance requirements as outlined in Section 4.17. o For internally illuminated signs, indicate which areas of the sign are opaque and which are illuminated.
