The overall review for this plan is still underway. John just got his review done early and sent his comments out to the
lead planner (me) and the applicant. Once I have all comments from all applicable reviewers I will send out a combined
and finalized comment letter. Just a heads up it']l likely be next week, I'm still waiting on a couple of reviewers. Let me
know if you have any questions at this time, but like I said you'll get a final comment letter sometime soon. Thanks!

disturbance, since within a common plan of development (Glenmore), the proposed —12.4' x 37' suspended
deck (— 395sf), similar to an existing deck (ref satellite imagery), lacks potential to alter pre -/post -developed
stormwater characteristics at this location. 2/9/22 satellite imagery indicates an above -ground deck (possibly
wood plank surface) occupies area of proposed new deck. In that case, project may be viewed as like -for -like
replacement. Though 17-301.A. provides exemption from requirements of VESCP for Minor Residential -
Related Activities, including maintenance work, there is no equivalent exemption for institutional maintenance
involving land disturbance of any measurable amount, if within a common plan. Evaluation of erosion
/sediment potential associated with a new deck in this location is nil. This is a structural as opposed to land -
disturbing activity. Light equipment, light materials, manual means will be employed to erect the new
deck. Nelly Stevens Holley and Forsythia plantings border deck site. The deck will attach to an existing
building, similar to existing deck depicted in satellite imagery. Numeric VRRM.xls re -development exercise
indicates even if —395sf of earth beneath the deck is temporarily disturbed, calculated phosphorus reduction
=0.00 lb. Runoff characteristics, pre- /post -development are identical (rain drains between deck slats, or sheet
flows off edge into plantings: pre Most). VESCP-VSMP evaluation is complete. No WPO application,
Grading permit, SWM plan, SWPPP, WPO bond, inspection, further evaluation relative to Ch. 17

satellite imagery indicates an above -ground deck (possibly wood plank surface) occupies area of proposed new deck. In that
case, project may be viewed as like -for -like replacement. Though 17-301.A. provides exemption from requirements of VESCP
for Minor Residential -Related Activities, including maintenance work, there is no equivalent exemption for institutional
maintenance involving land disturbance of any measurable amount, if within a common plan. Evaluation of erosion /sediment
potential associated with a new deck in this location is nil. This is a structural as opposed to land -disturbing activity. Light
equipment, light materials, manual means will be employed to erect the new deck. Nelly Stevens Holley and Forsythia
plantings border deck site. The deck will attach to an existing building, similar to existing deck depicted in satellite
imagery. Numeric VRRM.xIs re -development exercise indicates even if —395sf of earth beneath the deck is temporarily
disturbed, calculated phosphorus reduction =0.00 lb. Runoff characteristics, pre- /post -development are identical (rain drains
between deck slats, or sheet flows off edge into plantings: pre most). VESCP-VSMP evaluation is complete. No WPO
application, Grading permit, SWM plan, SWPPP, WO bond, inspection, further evaluation relative to Ch. 17 requirements, or
further technical coordination with Engineering is required. Engineering has no objection to this project.'

This email is to serve as the transmittal of application SDP202200059 Glenmore Pavilion Minor Site Plan Amendment.
The documents are attached here. This proposal appears to be pretty straight forward, they are adding a small deck to
the existing clubhouse building and this plan is simply consolidating some of the previously approved LORs. I don't
believe I am going to have any comments on this, but wanted to send this to a few reviewers to make sure there is
