Under section § 17-900 of the Albemarle County Code, this is your NOTICE TO COMPLY with
the requirements of the Land Disturbance Permit (or Agreement in Lieu of a Plan) for the
referenced project and to immediately take corrective measures to address erosion and sediment
control deficiencies on this property. This Notice to Comply is being issued because of the
following deficiencies:
Deficiency: Numerous dirt stockpiles not stabilized
Corrective Action: Must stabilize all dirt stockpiles
Deficiency: Erosion issues on sediment basin C have not been corrected
Corrective Action: Corrections have not been adequately addressed from previous Inspection
Deficiency: Denuded areas dormant longer than 14 day have not been stabilized
Corrective Action: Large denuded area between dirt stockpiles and curb have not been stabilized.
Rill erosion has occurred adjacent to sediment basin C
Unless subsequently amended in writing by this office, it is expected all of these corrective
measures will be completed by.
Reinspections as a result of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $170 fee for the first
reinspection and $270 for each subsequent reinspection for single-family dwelling units (§ 17-207).
Reinspections as a result of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $283 fee for the first
reinspection and $383 for each subsequent reinspection for VESCP and VSMP permits (§17-207 and
§ 17-208). Failure to take effective corrective measures will result in a Stop Work Order upon
reinspection. A 4% technology fee is due with each payment.

must be corrected by December 13, 2022 or second Notice to Comly will be issued.
