The Albemarle County Planning Commission at its meeting, November 22, 2022, recommended approval of the Zoning
Map Amendment, Willow Glen by a vote of 4:2, with the reasons stated in the staff report, provided that creating buffers
around the pond were provided. The Commission also noted in discussion that some mix of housing types would be
preferred and the proposal does not address impacts to schools.
The Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6:0 to permit substitutions of the recreational facilities as
stated in the Staff Report.
The Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6:0 to allow a 5% reduction in the minimum amount of
required parking spaces as stated in the Staff Report.
