An inspection has been conducted by Kenny Thacker and I. the results are attached. The large Sediment Basin on the south side of the project is scheduled to be converted in the spring and will be converted to a storm water quality facility. The smaller sediment basin (west of the mentioned basin) requires cleanout on a regular basis and is addressed in the attached notice to comply. "Sediment should be removed from the basin when the volume of the permanent pool has been reduced by one half. In no case shall the sediment cleanout level be higher than one foot below the bottom of the dewatering device. "" In accordance with 3.14 of the VESCH third edition. dated 1992. I do know that Ray has been very diligent in regularly inspecting this site and has worked closely with Forest Lakes residents in the past.. By way of this email, I am asking Ray to share the results of current inspections and any other information relevant to the current HTC project. If you have additional concerns, I believe you will find Ray very responsive and willing to assist you in understanding the measures that have been put in place and their effectiveness. There are concerns regarding the ongoing silt collecting into Hollymead Lake. After the last rain, Mr. Grace inspected the Hollymead Lake and found it significantly discolored. on behalf of the Forest Lakes Board of Directors and the Forest Lakes Community Association, I am requesting that the county inspect the erosion controls that are already in place at HTC. Please see attachment for concerns. Please report HTC's findings to me after the inspection is completed. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
