Justification for request:
The parcels are located in a Designated Development Area in the Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan recommends serving the Development Areas with public water and sewer service.
The parcels are located in an area designated for increased density development in the Crozet Master Plan.
The parcels have been rezoned to Neighborhood Model District[ZMA 2005-00018;approved 9/13/2006]
The parcels are adjacent to Wickham Pond,Phase 1,which is a NMD included in the jurisdictional area.[Board of Supervisors consent
agenda 3/1/2006]
ACSA has reviewed plans for water and sewer service to the parcels.
Owner will bear the costs for water and sewer hook-up
Inclusion in the Jurisdictional Area for water and sewer service is consistent with the County's public utility policy and long-standing growth
management philosophy;that is,encouraging higher density residential and commercial development in the Designated Development
Areas and discouraging this type of development in the Rural Areas.
