Ste. 101 Midlothian, VA 23113 RE: LOR #3 for SDP199800001; 540 Greenfield LLC Gilliland Office Building Tax Map/Parcel Number 04500-00-00-15400 Mr. Home, This letter is in response to the attached Letter of Revision Request dated November 14, 2022. The Department of Community Development grants approval of this LOR for the following modifications to SDP1998-01, depicted on the modified site plan and described below: 1. Removal of dog fence approved per previous LOR 2. Addition of a 5' x 5' concrete stoop at rear of building 3. Installation of new door at current window location 4. New stairwell inside of building 5. Installation of concrete sidewalk to connect stoop to parking lot 6. Installation of 8' x 5' canopy at front entrance 7. Re -installation of required ADA access in front parking strip 8. Re -planting of removed brush/vegetation in suitable location on site These changes are noted in the attached request and plan. Building permit B2022-03475-AC has been submitted for this scope of work. This is the third Letter of Revision for this site. A total of three LORs may be requested after which any further changes to the plan will require submission in the form of a site plan amendment application. Sincerely, q� Jeff P. Horne CK Bosworth Construction 1500 Huguenot Rd, Suite 101 Midlothian VA, 23113 RE: 540 Greenfield Terrace LOR To: Albermarle County We are proposing to add a 5' x 5' concrete stoop at rear of building for new door being installed at current window location. This door leads to the new stairwell being installed inside the building. There will be a concrete sidewalk connecting the stoop to the parking lot. A steel pipe rail guardrail will be installed where code requires because of elevation differences. We are also proposing to install an 8' x 5' canopy at front entrance to help with shielding from weather as enter the building. Landscaping Summary: The previous owner installed the dog fence that will be removed. The wooded area will remain undisturbed. The parking spaces will be put back that were affected by the dog fence. No trees will be removed as part of the construction project. Per attached marked up drawing a few nandina shrubs will be removed to allow for installation of new sidewalk. The original plan did not show the outdoor heat pump units which affected the count of nandina shrubs, the total to be removed for the new sidewalk will be 4 nandina's and 3 schip laurel's. Will plant back as many in kind once sidewalk is installed. The grassy area under the power line can be planted with schip laurels if required. Handicap Access: Handicap access will be at the front entrance. Previous owner had access, did not stripe parking space, only installed handicap sign. Plan will be to stripe and install handicap sign to designate handicap parking.
